Our Prince's 3rd Birthday

Our son Yonky is our greatest testimony of God's tremendous grace and awesome blessings. Even from the time of his conception, wherein nobody in the family could feel excited because they knew I just had general anesthesia for my tonsillectomy barely 2 weeks before I found out I was 7 weeks pregnant, God already put a loud and clear message... "He is more powerful than any scientific explanations". From all the possible complications the anesthesia could have caused the developing fetus, Yonky came out not only healthy and bubbly...but also gifted - more than we have prayed for.

Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible - Matthew 19:26 (NIV)

Blessings kept pouring in as he grew older and for his third birthday last August 18, 2011, he is still super healthy and received so much love, well wishes and gifts - his favorite Lightning McQueen RC car and other Cars characters and also a bonus Sony Bravia Internet TV from his generous grandparents Oh Manny and Owa Letty =). Now our house's living room is no longer bare. 


At the end of the day, the material blessings are just bonuses... so for me, I gave to him what any growing kid wants... his parents' presence. For four whole days... I'm all his and he even said thank you to me awwwww =_(. You're truly so loving my bonky.

  
We had a simple celebration at home with the family and Yonky is super duper happy dancing and singing to his birthday song, skyping with loved ones that are in Isabela and playing with his now growing CARS characters collection.

GOD, we might not know Your ways all the time... but we trust that You'll be guiding Yonky's every step. THANK YOU SO MUCH.
